GENERAL RULES
AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHERS ONLY- Amateur Status means
that you do not take photos and sell them. If you are a Professional
Photographer then we invite you to our “Display Only” section. If you
would like to use your expertise we are always in need of judges.
Entry form and photo must be received at the Delta Library by Thursday,
February 8th by close of business.
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THAT DATE AND TIME.
One entry form must accompany each submitted photograph.
Limit 4 photos per person
Theme for submitted photos is “Alaska in Winter”
Submitted photos must be in color.
Submitted photos must be 8” X 10”
Photos must not be framed or enhanced with a computer printed frame.
All photos will be on display at the library for 1 week after judging is
complete.
Winning entries in each age category will be awarded 1st, 2nd, & 3rd
place ribbons
Age categories are: Junior up to 12 years old; Teen 13-19 years old;
Adult 20 years and over.
Prizes will be awarded in each category and will be paid in Chamber
Vouchers:
First Place $100.00 Second Place $50.00 Third Place $25.00
JUDGING
Each individual Judge’s scores are totalled for each photo then all of
their scores are combined and tabulated to determine the winners. The
decision of the judges is final.
