  • Drive through the farming/ranching communities and see many different forms of agricultural use.

  • Take a drive down some of the back roads and see abundant wildlife and a variety of  beautiful wildflowers.

  • View and take excellent photos of the Trans Alaska Pipeline.

  • Enjoy incredible boating, fishing and hunting, either on your own or with an expert guide.

  • A flightseeing trip is just the thing to provide a breathtaking close up overview of the whole area.

  • You won’t want to miss our chamber events throughout the year: Festival of Lights event in February where three lucky people take the Polar Bear Plunge into icy water; Friendly Frontier Days where three lucky people are voted by the community to catch and kiss a pig; Old Fashioned 4th of July celebration; Harvest Festival and the Deltana Fair.  The whole community turns out to have a good time at all these events.

  • Winter becomes a “winter wonderland” with ice fishing, snow machining, cross-country skiing, ice skating and dog mushing.

Come see us.  You’ll be glad you did!
